Volkswagen Golf 8 LED headlight (left)
What it does
The whole front light unit: housing, lens, LEDs and, on Matrix units, the control electronics that dip parts of the beam for oncoming cars.
What to check before you buy
- Left and right are different numbers, and LED and Matrix LED units do not swap.
- Check the photos for cracks, scratches on the lens and broken mounting tabs.
- The part number on the listing matches the one on your old part or your garage's quote.
- A used part from a licensed dismantler (breaker) comes with the dismantler's licence number. We do not show one without it.
- The kilometres on the donor car, when the seller records them.
- The warranty in months, and who gives it. A private seller owes no legal guarantee.
- Fitting labour is never included in the part price, and a seller's warranty usually excludes it.
- The invoice is in your name, so the guarantee is yours.
Questions
Is a used headlight a good idea?
Often, for a part that is expensive new. Every used part we offer shows the seller's warranty, the kilometres where the seller records them, and whether the part number matches yours. Your garage checks it before fitting.
Is fitting included in the price?
No. The prices here are for the part, delivered. Fitting is between you and your garage, and a seller's warranty usually covers the part, not the labour.
What does it cost to use Partwren?
Asking is free. You pay the seller directly for the part, and us one fixed fee (€29, €59 or €99, by part price) only once you choose an option. No find, no fee.
Will my garage fit a part I bring?
Many independent garages will. Ask them before you choose. We deliver to your garage with a fit pack: part number, seller, invoice and warranty on one page.

Did your garage quote more?
Send us the quote. We look for this exact part number across Europe and send you two to four options within 24 hours. Free to ask: no find, no fee.
